            Rangbhoomi is "The Official Dramatics Club" Of Babu Banarasi Das Northern India Institute Of Technology.

 

Founded In The Year 2008 under the Guidance Of our former Faculty Coordinator Mrs. Pooja Singh by Vinay Kr. Kardam, Ritesh Singh, Vipulam Kulshrestra, Ritesh Kukrety, Shivendra Kukrety, Saurabh Dubey.

 

The club is known for its hardworking members who make it one of The Most Active Clubs Of BBDNIIT. We take part in various events, including college events and other dramatic events, in order to represent BBDNIIT as well as refine skills of our team members

 

Every new academic year, starts with recruitments of fresh talents. However, you don't need to have specific positives in order to get into the team. The team searches for people with dedication and a curiosity towards learning new skills.

 

                               WHAT DO WE DO IN THE TEAM?

Well, as already told, we pick new members in the start of a new academic session, but that's not where our session generally starts. After new admissions to the college, the team introduces itself to the freshies in the Orientation Program organized by the college itself to give new students, an overview of college and the college communities.

The next event we usually perform in, is Teacher's Day. We present a unique and out of the box skit(short play) on every Teacher's Day and the team gets a lot of appreciation from the faculties as well as the Respected Dignities present in the program.

Then we head on to Ganesh Utsav performance, where we present another skit related to the event!

​

The odd semester witnesses just these three in-college events. After these events, we register ourselves to events happening all around India in IITs, IIITs, IIMs, and other nearby colleges to represent BBDNIIT.

​

The even semester sees the Annual Fest of BBDEG, 'UTKARSH' and we take part in eaach and every Dramatic event and assure victory in each one of them.

​

After all this fun and achievements, we celebrate, organisee parties for the freshies. The end of the academic session is the most painful period of all, when our beloved seniors from the top-most batch has to leave the college and therefore, the Team.

​

The team bids them farewell and lower batches assure that the legacy of the Team is maintained in the coming years
